Ronda Rousey will get up close with a mako shark as part of the 30th anniversary of Discovery Channel's "Shark Week."
In "Uncaged: Shark vs. Ronda Rousey," the former UFC champion-turned-WWE star will cage dive with several lightweight shark species in the waters off Fiji before traveling to New Zealand to "free dive uncaged" with a mako, according to Discovery Channel. She'll be trained by shark conservationist and shark-attack survivor, Paul de Gelder.
"Uncaged" follows last year's much-talked-about "Phelps vs. Shark: Great Gold vs. Great White," which pitted 23-time Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps against a computer-simulated great white shark in a 100-meter race.
"Shark Week" airs June 22-29.
