Rollins becomes Grand Slam Champion by winning IC title at WrestleMania 34

WWE/Twitter

Welcome to the club, Seth Rollins.

By defeating both The Miz and Finn Balor in the opening match at WrestleMania 34 on Sunday night, Rollins not only won the Intercontinental Championship for the first time, but he also became the 11th Grand Slam Champion under the modern format.

This means Rollins has been a World Champion, Tag Team Champion, United States Champion, and Intercontinental Champion. In accomplishing the feat, he joins the likes of Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Eddie Guerrero, Kurt Angle, and Edge.

Balor seemingly had the Triple Threat match won after drilling Miz with a corner dropkick and Coup de Grace from the top rope. Rollins, however, broke up his pin attempt with a Blackout stomp on Balor, sending his head into Miz's back.

Waiting patiently in the corner, Rollins capped off his victory by giving Miz his own curb stomp to keep him down for the three count.

Rollins' entrance at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome paid tribute to the "Game of Thrones" television series. The Iowa native was decked out as the Night King from the show, complete with blue contact lenses.
