White: Lesnar vs. Miocic-Cormier winner 'a possibility'
It's no longer a matter of if Brock Lesnar will return to the Octagon, but when will he do so.
UFC president Dana White revealed Friday that Lesnar - who will headline Wrestlemania 34 on Sunday - is still under contract with the UFC and has fights remaining on his deal.
"He's still under contract with the UFC but we have not signed him to a fight," White said at the UFC's 25th-anniversary press conference.
Lesnar's last MMA fight came at UFC 200 in July 2016. After his fight with Mark Hunt, Lesnar tested positive for estrogen blockers and was handed a one-year suspension by the Nevada Athletic Commission.
White said Lesnar needs only to "get back into the USADA pool" to make his return to the UFC.
Currently, Stipe Miocic wears the UFC's heavyweight crown and will face light heavyweight titleholder Daniel Cormier at UFC 226 in July.
White was asked directly whether Lesnar could face the winner of that champion-versus-champion fight.
"Yea, that's a possibility," he said.
Cormier's reaction to such news was priceless.
