John Cena: McGregor in WWE would 'put me out of work'
There has been plenty of talk in the past about Conor McGregor joining WWE, and John Cena is all for it.
Cena had plenty of praise for McGregor during a recent interview with Entertainment.ie, particularly for how well he sold his fight against Floyd Mayweather.
"He would do fantastic. Hell, he'd put me out of work," Cena said. "He gets the entertainment aspect of sport, and I think he gets it as good, or better, than anyone else. The way he promoted the fight against Mayweather, that's what we do. He did it as good, or better, than us.
"I hope one day, if you're out there watching, and you want to come to WWE, he would be a fantastic WWE Superstar."
McGregor famously referred to Cena as "a big, fat 40-year-old failed Mr. Olympian" in 2016, but it appears the 16-time WWE champion has moved on from the feud.
