theScores examines the best uniforms heading into the 2023 Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

10. England (away)

Nike

England's blue away kit makes up the country's mind-numbingly boring home uniform. With a nod to the Art Deco movement, Nike used a striking geometric pattern to produce a surprisingly pleasant take on the Lionesses' away threads.

9. Denmark (home)

Denmark appears with the first and only entry here that Nike or Adidas didn't create. It might be a bit loud for some, but Hummel succeeded in ditching traditional methods to produce a unique arrangement of shapes that could grow on fans as the tournament progresses.

8. Brazil (home)

Nike

Similar to others from Nike that didn't stray far from the template, the sportswear giant kept it simple with a crisp and classic outfit for Brazil. The home shirt falls in line with the iconic kits made famous by past heroes on both the women's and men's teams.

7. Colombia (away)

For a unique spin, look no further than Colombia's wildly imaginative away shirt. Inspired by the Cano Cristales River (also known as the River of Five Colors), the marble-like pattern with strong purple tones makes for a striking garb bound to leave a positive impression.

6. France (away)

Nike

There are some questions about the shade of blue picked for the home shirt, but there's not much to complain about overall with France's away attire. Some might think it's boring. However, there's something to be said about the minimalist design, toned-down patterns, and striking color schemes.

5. New Zealand (both)

Nike

With a home top that pays homage to New Zealand's unique landscapes - featuring a bold yet pleasing black and white spray paint pattern - the 2023 Women's World Cup co-host might have the most underrated kits at the competition.

4. Canada (home)

Nike

There aren't any complaints to be had about the Canadian women's national team's snazzy new home threads. After the men's squad embarked on its first World Cup appearance in decades as the only team without new apparel in Qatar, Nike made up for the wave of bad press with a beautifully vibrant home top featuring a polished maple leaf pattern.

3. Jamaica (both)

Adidas knocked it out of the park in its first collaboration with the Jamaican women's football team. The home and away gear the Reggae Girls will sport in Australia later this month are about as sharp as they come. Both retro-style jerseys will undoubtedly be must-have items for fans.

2. Nigeria (away)

Nike

Classic and stylish are the best ways to sum up Nigeria's look heading into the Women's World Cup. Designers did a wonderful job of staying true to the country's trademark style with a vibrant home top while exercising their creativity with an away shirt that could be one of the tournament's top sellers.

1. Japan (away)

It doesn't get much better than Japan's away kit. Along with sporting the same slick blue home shirt the men's side wore in Qatar, Japan enters the Women's World Cup with an away ensemble that could go down as one of the most popular uniforms in the tournament's history.
