Serena pulls out of Rogers Cup

Serena Williams has pulled out of the Rogers Cup in Montreal, Tennis Canada announced Saturday via the USTA's Ash Marshall.
Williams last played in Montreal in 2014. She's now scheduled to play in Cincinnati next week before the U.S. Open at the end of the month.
The tournament gets underway on Monday.
