Christoph Kramer was a late inclusion in Joachim Low's starting lineup following the calf injury to Sami Khedira during the pre-match warm-up.

He probably doesn't even know that he's playing in the World Cup final at the moment. The young midfielder took an inadvertent shoulder directly in the head while making a run into the Argentine penalty area, and crumbled to the ground before receiving treatment from the medical staff.

He has since returned to the match.
