After more than 760 minutes of play over three tournaments, Wayne Rooney has finally scored his first World Cup goal.
It all started when Daniel Sturridge made a sharp turn on the right flank, then slid a through ball forward for Glen Johnson, who managed a pass across the box that went straight to Rooney's feet. He made no mistake.
The World Cup duck is broken.
