VIDEO: Clint Dempsey scores 5th fastest goal in World Cup history

Wooheee. That was fast. 

Just 30 seconds into their match against Ghana, captain Clint Dempsey put the U.S. ahead with a wonderful run and finish.

It was the fastest goal in America's World Cup history, but only the fifth fastest in tournament history. In 2002, it only took 11 seconds for Hakan Sukur to put Turkey ahead against hosts South Korea. 

But never mind that, just enjoy the great opening for the U.S.
