Uruguay coach Tabarez 'worried' about Cavani injury after beating Portugal
Edinson Cavani's two goals propelled Uruguay to a 2-1 win over Portugal in the World Cup round of 16 on Saturday, but things weren't all rosy after the game.
La Celeste manager Oscar Tabarez admitted after the final whistle he's concerned over the striker's fitness, as the 31-year-old didn't seem to have complete freedom of movement when he left the pitch in the 74th minute.
"Yes he was injured and he felt pain," Tabarez said, as reported by BBC Sport. "I haven't spoken to the medical team because the match has only just finished.
"We don't have a lot of time to recover. Right now, we are only worried but we don't know how serious the injury really is."

Cavani's brace booked his side a date with France at the quarter-final stage after Les Bleus defeated Argentina 4-3 earlier on Saturday.
The striker himself said of the injury: "I hope the pain turns out to be nothing. I just felt something at one point and couldn't recover. I hope (to be fit), I'll do everything to make sure I can take to the field with my teammates."
Uruguay has other supremely talented players, not least Cavani's strike partner Luis Suarez, but the PSG frontman's absence would be a colossal blow for the South American nation as it looks to reach the last four of the competition for the second time in three attempts.
