Canada's Jocelyne Larocque has apologized after taking off her silver medal on the ice following the team's dramatic shootout loss to the U.S. in women's hockey.

After being presented with the medal following the game, Larocque immediately removed it and held it in her hand for the remainder of the ceremony.

It wasn't until the team left the ice that an official from the International Ice Hockey Federation approached her and told her to put the medal back on.
