Canada earned a bye to the quarterfinals after defeating South Korea 4-0 on Sunday. The defending champions will face the winner of the Finland-South Korea qualification playoff game.

The U.S. will face Slovakia on Tuesday, with a trip to play the Czech Republic in the quarterfinals on the line.
