Okay speed skaters, we're calling your bluff.

Smarter Every Day produced a great infographic showing the fastest recorded speeds for events at the Winter Olympic Games. 

Sure, skating at roughly the same speed as a car drives through a residential area is pretty impressive, but going headfirst down an ice course more than twice that fast in Skeleton is even more impressive/terrifying.
