Kim Boutin

The 23-year-old short track speedskater became the second Canadian woman to win at least three medals at a single Winter Olympics with a silver in the 1,000 meters and bronze in both the 500 and 1,500 meters.

Ted-Jan Bloemen

Bloemen made his Olympic debut after immigrating from the Netherlands and leaves PyeongChang with two medals. First was a silver in the 5,000 meters before an incredible performance in the 10,000 meters resulted in a gold and an Olympic record.

Mikael Kingsbury

Kingsbury has dominated the World Cup circuit but had yet to claim Olympic gold thanks to former teammate Alexandre Bilodeau's brilliance at Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014. With Bilodeau retired, Kingsbury dominated the competition to take his crown as king of the moguls.

Kaitlyn Lawes and John Morris

Given the disappointing finishes of both the Canadian men's and women's curling teams are still fresh in the mind, it seems like ages ago that Lawes and Morris took home gold in the first-ever Olympic mixed curling event. The infectious pair instantly became crowd favorites and played a major role in the new event leaving a smashing impression.

Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir

Considering they carried the Canadian flag in the opening ceremony, it's almost a guarantee that ice dancing heroes Virtue and Moir won't have the honor at the closing ceremony. Regardless, the fact they are now the most decorated figure skaters in Olympic history - and the talk of PyeongChang 2018 - definitely gets them a spot in the poll.
