From the slopes to the curling arena, photographers at PyeongChang 2018 are always on the hunt for the money shot.
Capturing the perfect action shot or documenting medal winners usually get preferentially treatment, but there's a special place in the heart of every Winter Olympics fan for a perfectly-timed snapshot of a wipeout.
Here's a look at some of the best wipeouts after one week in South Korea:
Feb. 11: Simen Hegstad Krueger- Norway

It was a disaster start for Simen Hegstad Krueger in the men's 15K x 15K cross-country skiathlon after the Norwegian took a tumble seconds into his Olympic journey. Unbelievably, Krueger overcame the rough start and passed 67 people en route to winning gold as part of Norway's clean-sweep of the podium.
