Team Canada will have added reinforcement when it squares off against the Czech Republic on Thursday, as defenseman Victor Mete is set to return to the lineup.

"He's all good to go. He's 100 per cent and will be in the lineup," Team Canada coach Dominique Ducharme told TSN's Mark Masters. "No setbacks, no surprises."

Mete was not in the lineup for Canada's 8-2 quarterfinal win over Switzerland. He returns against the Czechs, and the winner will face the victor of Thursday's other semifinal between Sweden and the United States.

The blue-liner has recorded four points in four tournament games, and sits two points back of the team lead in scoring.

Mete, 19, appeared in 27 games with the Montreal Canadiens this season prior to his addition to Canada's world juniors roster.
