Canada women's national team head coach Bev Priestman has named her provisional 18-player roster for the upcoming Olympic campaign.

Christine Sinclair will lead an attack-minded squad at the delayed Tokyo games, with a total of six recognized forwards in the group. There's also a youthful look to Priestman's side, as Sinclair, Stephanie Labbe, Allysha Chapman, and Desiree Scott are the only players aged over 30.

Jordyn Huitema, Sophie Schmidt, Gabrielle Carle, and Erin McLeod are named as alternates. They will train and travel with the national team and will be available should there be injuries in the main squad.
