Wayne Rooney: Second leading scorer all time in Prem
Rooney took eight shots, with three on target, and scored a goal during Saturday's win over Swansea. He is now the second-highest goal scorer in Premier League history, trailing only Alan Shearer.
Analysis:
Rooney's goal was his first in Premier League play since Oct. 17 against Everton, but he put in a great performance that included three crosses, three key passes and one foul drawn. It was a solid turn-back-the-clock game, and while United have a relatively easy fixture next time in their Premier League schedule (at Newcastle), Rooney has been so inconsistent this season that he makes for an unreliable fantasy option.
