Robin van Persie was up to his old tricks Sunday in the Turkish Super Lig.

While van Persie's time with Fenerbahce has been frustrating thus far, the former Manchester United forward had to be happy with the stunning effort that gave his side the lead.

Faced with a free kick from roughly 30 yards out, the Dutch forward stepped up and unleashed a blistering shot that zipped past the Kayserispor 'keeper and tucked inside the near post to give Fenerbahce a 1-0 lead.
