Tom Cleverley: (Ankle) Targeting Return Against Man U
Cleverley (ankle) is three weeks ahead of schedule and targeting a return against Manchester United on Oct. 17, Phil Kirkbride of the Liverpool Echo reports.
Analysis:
Cleverley avoided surgery, which is a huge step for the former Red Devil as he hopes to face off against his former club. Since being acquired on a free transfer over the summer, Cleverley has made five appearances for Everton and has yet to break duck in the goal scoring column. His return would be a huge boost to Everton as he hasn't played since Aug. 29.
