Daniel Sturridge: (Hip) Will Miss Start of Next Season
Sturridge will be sidelined for four months after undergoing hip surgery this week, and he will miss the start of the 2015/16 Premier League season, the Liverpool Echo reports.
Analysis:
Sturridge is estimated to be able to return to full training some time in September, which means it could be October before he's back in the starting XI. The Premier League schedule even starts early next season in preparation for the Euros next summer, so it's possible Sturridge could miss up to 10 games. It will be the third straight year he's failed to be fully fit at the start of a season.
