Manchester United's Michael Carrick: Picks up injury Wednesday
Carrick was replaced in the second half of Wednesday's Europa League tie versus St.Etienne with a calf injury, Sky Sports reports.
Analysis:
The Red Devils won the game but they were handed a double injury blow as Carrick followed Henrikh Mkhitaryan to the sidelines with an ailment. The former recently recovered from another issue and while further scans are scheduled for Thursday with merely four days left to the EFL Cup final versus the Saints his availability will be put under a major doubt.
