Atletico Madrid's Tiago Cardoso Mendes: Returned as substitute

Tiago (thigh) returned to the pitch as a substitute in the 2-0 match win over Valencia on Sunday.

Analysis:

Tiago made his return after injuring his thigh in the Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven. He was substituted on in the 79th minute for Antoine Griezmann and in his short time on the pitch he made one tackle, nine passes, and was shown a yellow card. Looking forward, he'll continue to regain match fitness and hope to see more of the pitch in the upcoming matches.
