Liverpool's Loris Karius: Will start Saturday against Hull City
Karius has earned the starting goalkeeper spot for Saturday's match with Hull City, James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo reports.
Analysis:
Karius was brought in during the transfer period to provide competition at the goalkeeper position, only for him to suffer a broken hand that forced him out for six weeks. Karius started the EFL Cup match during the midweek, where he was able to keep a clean sheet. Although he is starting Saturday, it does not mean that he is the permanent starter. Simon Mignolet is waiting in the wings in case Karius has any slip ups.
