Watch: Real Madrid's Asensio smashes swerving Super Cup opener

Marco Asensio gave Real Madrid a reminder of his talent with a spectacular long-range effort in the first half of Tuesday's UEFA Super Cup against Sevilla.

It's his first senior goal in the famous white jersey.

The 20-year-old smacked the ball with a peculiar curl to give Los Blancos an early lead, leaving Sevilla goalkeeper Sergio Rico flat on his feet.

Asensio spent the past season on loan at Espanyol, and as several young players begin to leave the capital club, he will look to cement a permanent spot in the senior squad.
