LaVar Ball has landed himself a coaching role.

BC Vytautas, the Lithuanian team for which Ball's sons LaMelo and LiAngelo currently play for, announced Tuesday the father will serve as an assistant coach for their Big Baller Brand Challenge game against Alytaus Dzukija.

Ball won't just have a silent role on the sidelines, though.

"He will be an assistant coach on game protocol but will drive the team through the game and make many of the decisions," a team spokesman told ESPN. "The style the team is going to play is going to be LaVar's choice."

The Big Baller Brand Challenge is a series of friendly games conceived to allow LaMelo and LiAngelo to play against fellow teenagers in Europe. Vytautas also plays primarily in the Lithuanian league, though they currently sit in last domestically with five straight losses. The team also played in the Baltic League but abandoned the competition earlier this year to host the Big Baller Brand Challenge.
