The dust has barely settled on their FA Cup triumph, but Manchester United are continuing the process of searching for a possible replacement for cup-winning head coach Erik ten Hag.

Manchester United reportedly held talks with the representatives of former Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino and Brentford manager Thomas Frank about possibly succeeding Ten Hag, according to James Ducker of The Telegraph.

Ten Hag's future remains uncertain despite overseeing United's victory over Manchester City in Saturday's FA Cup final. The team finished a club-worst eighth in the Premier League in 2023-24.

A decision is expected to follow the bench boss' end-of-season review with club officials next week, Ducker adds.

Manchester United have also been linked with outgoing Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel and Ipswich Town tactician Kieran McKenna, who is reportedly being courted by other Premier League clubs but prefers to join the Red Devils should they dismiss Ten Hag.
