Haliburton emerged as a potential star-in-the-making in his sophomore year with Iowa State. Not only was he an excellent offensive facilitator, but he's also a talented shooter in his own right.

There aren't many better catalysts on offense in this draft. The 19-year-old California native impressed in Australia's NBL last season, which is why he's widely projected to go first overall.

The 6-foot-5 Hayes is another intriguing long-term point guard option. He was born in Florida but raised in France, and he was one of the best young talents in Germany with Ratiopharm Ulm last season.

A 6-foot-9 wing with frontcourt size, Avdija isn't a true point guard like the rest of this list, but he plays like one. His ability to create for others as a forward is partly why the Israeli prospect is a likely top-five pick.
