Sergio Perez

Perez is without a seat for the 2021 season after Racing Point ended his contract early. But the 10-year veteran has responded admirably, placing fifth, fourth, fourth, and seventh in his last four Grand Prix. If Red Bull drops struggling understudy Alexander Albon, Perez could slot in beside Max Verstappen.

Kevin Magnussen

Haas is releasing both of its drivers after a miserable campaign. Magnusson has retired from five of 12 races this season but showed a glimpse of his capabilities at the Russian Grand Prix, jumping from 18th to ninth during the first lap. He could replace Daniil Kvyat at Red Bull-owned AlphaTauri.

Mick Schumacher

Schumacher is starting to live up to his name. The 21-year-old is in first place in the Formula Two championship and destined to make the leap to F1 next year. He has already driven F1 cars in test sessions and would've participated in practice at the Eiffel Grand Prix had the weather cooperated. Haas is poised to bring on Schumacher as part of its new lineup.

Nico Hulkenberg

No one knew if Hulkenberg would return when he exited F1 last season. But the 33-year-old found himself driving for Racing Point when Perez dropped out with COVID-19. An engine failure compromised his comeback at the British Grand Prix, but Hulkenberg fought back with a seventh-place finish at the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix. Haas and Red Bull are potential destinations.
