Cam Newton ➡️ Bears

Newton's time in Carolina may be over after a Lisfranc injury landed the quarterback on injured reserve. With Kyle Allen and Will Grier on the Panthers' roster, it'd be exciting for Cam to get a fresh start on a new squad. The former MVP can still thrive in the right system if healthy.

If 2019 is any indication, Mitchell Trubisky isn't the franchise player Chicago needs him to be. The Bears - who don't have a first-round pick - likely won't have a shot at the top 2020 quarterback prospects and may have to sign Newton to a new deal, but it's a risk worth taking.

Calais Campbell ➡️ Raiders

With Yannick Ngakoue set for free agency, the Jaguars are better off prioritizing the future and re-signing the young pass-rusher to pair with 2019 first-rounder Josh Allen. Having just turned 33, Campbell's trade value will likely never be higher.

Why we want to see it

Jon Gruden is desperate for pass-rush help, enamored with productive veterans, and has cap space to land a big-time player. Campbell feels like the perfect addition to a young defensive line as the Raiders move to Las Vegas in 2020 and could help a surprising contender take the next step.

Odell Beckham Jr. ➡️ Seahawks

The OBJ experiment in Cleveland hasn't panned out thus far. It'd be stunning if the Browns moved on from Beckham after one year, but it's not impossible to imagine general manager John Dorsey admitting his team isn't capable of maximizing the receiver's talent and cashing in on what would still be a huge return.

Why we want to see it

Just imagine Russell Wilson scrambling out of the pocket with Beckham, Tyler Lockett, and DK Metcalf streaking downfield. Wilson is the MVP so far, and the Seahawks should go all-in on their passing game in 2020. Moreover, Pete Carroll is a master at managing big personalities like OBJ.

Darius Slay ➡️ Chiefs

The Lions reportedly listened to offers for Slay before the deadline after the cornerback didn't hide his anger at the team for trading safety Quandre Diggs. While Slay's still Detroit's best defensive player, the atrocious unit needs an overhaul. Trading the two-time Pro Bowler could be the best long-term move.

Why we want to see it

Pairing an explosive offense with a defense that can create turnovers is a devastating combination. Unfortunately, Tyrann Mathieu hasn't been the playmaker the Chiefs hoped he would be. Adding Slay - who's third in interceptions since 2016 - as a counter punch for Patrick Mahomes would be a scary prospect for the rest of the NFL.
