Justin Rose
Rose finished T-10 last week at The Northern Trust thanks to a red-hot putter. The Englishman nearly always thrives in major-type settings and Medinah provides just that, having hosted the 1999 and 2006 PGA Championship.

Tommy Fleetwood
After struggling with his irons last week, expect Fleetwood to bounce back at a ball-striker's paradise. His history of performing on courses over 7,400 yards (Shinnecock Hills, Erin Hills) shouldn't be ignored.

Xander Schauffele
Three of Schauffele’s four career wins have come in limited-field, no-cut events, which is what’s on deck at the BMW Championship. It would be shocking to not see him in contention at Medinah - a course that rewards distance off the tee and strong long-iron play.

Tony Finau
Finau’s length off the tee gives him a chance to contend regularly. He’s performed well at major championship venues in the past, and without the fear of missing the cut, he can play aggressively all week.

Dustin Johnson
Johnson showed flashes of his old self at Liberty National but lost his swing on the weekend. He won the BMW Championship in 2017 and could easily do so again.

Adam Scott
Scott stormed up the leaderboard last week with a final-round 65. He finished T-3 at Medinah in 2006 and is primed to repeat that performance.

Justin Thomas
Thomas turned in another all-time ball-striking week at The Northern Trust but was hampered by a cold putter. A win is coming sooner rather than later.

Jon Rahm
Rahm played sensationally at The Northern Trust and could easily have won. Anything outside of a top-five result at the BMW Championship would be surprising.

Rory McIlroy
McIlroy quietly came T-6 last week for his fourth top-10 in his last five events. Medinah fits his elite off-the-tee game, so he should contend once again.

Brooks Koepka
Koepka wasn’t great with his irons last week but drove it brilliantly. Everyone knows that majors are his bread and butter, so Medinah's history should play into his hands.
