Bryan Reynolds, Pirates

All Reynolds has done since making his major-league debut in April is hit. He started his career with an 11-game hitting streak and has barely slowed down. His 19 doubles rank fourth among NL rookies, but each of the players ahead of him have played roughly 20 more games.

Mike Soroka, Braves

Soroka has stumbled a bit since the start of June, but he's still pacing the majors in wins above replacement among rookie hurlers. One key to his success has been Soroka's ability to limit home runs, as his HR/9 of 0.37 is the best among qualified starters.

2

Fernando Tatis Jr., Padres

The 20-year-old has lived up to the hype, especially since his return from a hamstring injury. After his activation on June 6, Tatis has hit .372/.442/.669 with eight home runs, four doubles, four triples, and eight stolen bases. He could easily swipe the top NL rookie honors from a particular polar bear.

Pete Alonso, Mets

Home Run Derby trophy in tow, Alonso should easily break the NL rookie home run record Cody Bellinger set in 2017. He has a decent shot at Aaron Judge's mark of 52 from that same year for a new major-league rookie record.
