Losers:

Bottle service

No love in the club for disciplinary derelicts Tottenham. Heung-Min Son and Juan Foyth were sent off, Eric Dier was lucky not to be, and Nathan Ake snatched the 3 points for Bournemouth with a late header. Spurs now visit Ajax on the back of a dispiriting defeat.

Winner:

Marko on the mark

West Ham's Arnautovic continued a fine run of form against Southampton on Saturday, scoring twice in a 3-0 victory. The towering Austrian has now been directly involved in 30 goals since the start of last season, 14 better than any other Hammer.

Losers:

Bye Bye, Bluebirds

Cardiff City confirmed the inevitable on Saturday against Crystal Palace, slumping to a 3-2 defeat to secure a return to the Championship. That's now 3 relegations with 3 different clubs in 3 decades for Neil Warnock. It was fun while it lasted. Hywl fawr, Cardiff.

Winners:

Tidy Toffees

Everton kept an 8th clean sheet in their last 10 outings with Friday's comprehensive 2-0 win over Burnley. Only neighbors Liverpool (11) have recorded more shutouts than the Toffees this season. They'll look to close things out with another one against Spurs next weekend.

Losers:

Reeling Red Devils

Like a hoof from the 'keeper that bounds past a hapless phalanx and ends in a goal, United were helpless in defending slim Champions League hopes vs. Huddersfield. That's exactly how Isaac Mbenza scored to relegate the Red Devils to a finish outside the top 4.

Winner:

Exceptional Eden

If the 3-0 win over Watford was Eden Hazard's final match at the Bridge in a Chelsea strip, it was a fitting farewell for the accommodating Belgian. With assists on goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek and David Luiz, Hazard's 15 helpers are best among the top-5 leagues.

Losers:

Ghastly Gunners

Arsenal's Champions League hopes now rest squarely on the Europa League after Sunday's 1-1 home draw with Brighton all but crushed their top-4 quest. That's now 4 points from their last 6 matches, and more goals conceded (50) this season than bottom-half Newcastle.
