It took 105 minutes for AC Milan to register its first shot on target in this new season, but new signing Carlos Bacca made sure it counted.
Milan earned an early 1-0 lead over Empoli on Saturday thanks to Bacca, who beat two defenders and rounded the goalkeeper before slotting in the ball.
The goal only happened because of a brilliant pass from Luiz Adriano, whose ball from centre field split the defence.
The lead lasted only a few minutes, however, as former Milan player Riccardo Saponara burned defender Cristian Zapata and struck a strong equaliser.
