Philippe Mexes is just trying to put a smile on the faces at the San Siro.
In a match where supporters of AC Milan protested their club's sad state of affairs with a human banner that spelled out "Enough," Mexes pulled a goal back for his side in the 66th minute after Genoa went up 2-0 before the hour mark.
A sure sign that a club is struggling is when their only goal comes courtesy of a 33-year-old centre-back from 25 yards out.
Perhaps Mexes' desire to remain at Milan is what fueled the unlikely strike.
