Torino and Parma will contest the first Serie A match since the league shut down in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 2019-20 season, which was officially suspended March 9, will resume June 20 when the two sides clash at 7:30 p.m. local time (1:30 p.m. ET).

Hellas Verona and Cagliari will face each other at the Bentegodi later that evening, with high-flying Atalanta hosting Sassuolo and Antonio Conte's Inter Milan entertaining Sampdoria the next day.

A total of 124 matches will be played over 43 days in an effort to complete the season by Aug. 2. All matches will take place behind closed doors, and most will be played in the evening in order to compensate for the summer heat. The earliest kick-off will come at 5:15 p.m. local time (11:15 a.m. ET).

There are still several juicy encounters left on the calendar, including a potential title-decider between Juventus and Lazio on July 20. The Bianconeri currently hold a one-point lead over Lazio atop the Serie A table.

The Italian government gave Serie A permission to restart the campaign last week as the number of coronavirus cases and related deaths continued to drop across the country.
