Kaka was in attendance at the San Siro as AC Milan enjoyed a welcome win over Austria Vienna in Thursday's Europa League meeting, but he was at his old stomping ground for business as well as pleasure.

The Brazilian visited the club's new headquarters and sat in meetings with Milan's owners ahead of the match, and ESPN FC's Ben Gladwell reports Kaka was offered a director's role during his visit.

There is interest from the creative maestro, but he's yet to decide if his playing days are over after leaving Major League Soccer's Orlando City in October.

"I've given myself a few months to decide what I need to do. I did not want to decide before the end of the season and I want to make up my mind with calm. Then, if I do decide to stop playing, I will consider my future," the 35-year-old told Sky Sport Italia, with translation from Gladwell.

"Certainly Milan are a possibility, especially now the doors are open for me. My relationship with this club is excellent. It's an indescribable emotion for me to be here in Milan these days, I can't explain it.

"I'm loving being in the city and it's bringing back lots of memories of my life and my career. It's hard to explain."

Kaka spent two separate stints with the Rossoneri, with his first spell producing titles in Serie A, the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, Club World Cup, and individual recognition as 2007 FIFA World Player of the Year.
