Watch: Indomitable Dybala fires another treble in sterling start to season
Paulo Dybala scored his second hat trick of the Serie A campaign as Juventus downed Sassuolo 3-1 in Reggio Emilia on Sunday.
His first was, unsurprisingly, a beauty. Dybala secured his 50th goal in 100 matches across all competitions for the Old Lady with a gorgeous first-time swing after 16 minutes:
Juve's No. 10 added his second shortly after the break, and then quelled any hopes of a comeback after Neroverdi forward Matteo Politano's goal by claiming his hat trick via a dipping free-kick:
Dybala is now the first player since Wayne Rooney, then on the books of Manchester United, in the 2011-12 season to score eight goals in the opening four matches of a campaign across Europe's leading five divisions.
Juventus follows the defeat of Sassuolo with three consecutive matches at home against Fiorentina, Torino, and Olympiacos, respectively.
