Puma Basketball's upcoming shoe releases will apparently include a signature sneaker for Dallas Mavericks player development coach God Shammgod.

Though no official announcement has been made yet, Shammgod told Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype he has a sneaker in the works.

"I'll have my own shoe coming out with Puma - the Shammgod shoe - so I'm just very excited," he said. "I think the people who watched me when they were growing up are going to be very excited and happy with the product."

Shammgod appeared in 20 games in his NBA career - all during the 1997-98 season with the Washington Wizards after they drafted him in the second round (45th overall). He's currently in his third season with the Mavericks.
