New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft pleaded not guilty Tuesday to both counts of soliciting prostitution in Florida and requested a jury trial, according to Palm Beach County court records.

Kraft also waived his arraignment, which was scheduled to occur Thursday.

The 77-year-old released his first statement regarding the incident Saturday, apologizing to those "who rightfully hold me to a higher standard" and pledging "to regain your confidence and respect."

Later Tuesday, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell reiterated that Kraft would be subject to the league's personal conduct policy, but said it "will be done after we get all the facts," according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
