NBA expands fan voting to all end-of-season player awards

The NBA announced Monday that fans can now vote for all end-of-season player awards.

The Kia fan voting program has expanded to include the Most Improved Player, Sixth Man of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Rookie of the Year, in addition to the Most Valuable Player, which supporters have been able to vote for since 2010.

Starting today until midnight on April 13, fans can submit their picks daily at nba.com/KiaFanVote or on Twitter using the player's first and last name with the following hashtags to vote:

  • #KiaSixth
  • #KiaDPOY
  • #KiaMIP
  • #KiaROY
  • #KiaMVP

The collective fan picks will count as one vote toward each of the awards, which are typically determined by media members.
