Michigan State will allow sophomore forward Miles Bridges to play despite an FBI investigation showing that Bridges and his family took $470 from a booster.

The school released a statement Saturday saying that it conducted a thorough investigation into the matter and settled on the clearance for Bridges within a day of a report being dropped by Yahoo Sports.

"After learning of the allegations in yesterday's Yahoo! Sports article, our compliance office conducted a thorough internal review. Michigan State presented its findings to the NCAA, and MIles Bridges has been cleared for competition moving forward, beginning Sunday at Wisconsin," said MSU Interim Athletics Director Bill Beekman.

Files seized from a former ASM Sports associate showed that Bridges' mom received a $400 loan. The associate also spent $70 while having a meal with Bridges.
