South Korean police confirmed a group including Canadian skicross athlete Dave Duncan and Alpine Canada athletic director of skicross Willy Raine was arrested and subsequently released in PyeongChang early Saturday morning in connection with a stolen vehicle and an impaired driving incident, according to CBC's Susan Ormiston.

Raine is reported to have been the driver of the vehicle. Police officials said the driver had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.16 percent - twice the legal Canadian limit of 0.08 percent, and over three times the South Korean threshold of 0.05 percent.

"We have information that individuals attached to our team were involved in the investigation and they're cooperating, and we take this matter, of course, very, very seriously," said Canadian Olympic Committee CEO Chris Overholt.

"We're in contact with the authorities, as well as the Canadian embassy, and we'll provide an update when it's appropriate to do so."

Duncan, 35, finished in eighth place in the men's skicross competition. His final event wrapped up on Wednesday, Feb. 21.
