Alabama lands nation's top CB Patrick Surtain Jr.

Alabama made a massive addition ahead of the 2018 season on Wednesday, as the nation's top-ranked cornerback, Patrick Surtain Jr., announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide.

The 5-star prodigy is ranked second in the talent-rich state of Florida and listed as the fifth-best prospect in the entire country by ESPN.

Surtain, whose father played in the NFL for 11 seasons, was coveted by a number of top programs throughout the recruiting process but opted for Alabama over schools such as LSU, Florida, Florida State, and Georgia.
