The Cleveland Browns finally signed second-round pick Quinshon Judkins, the team announced Saturday.

Despite signing his fully guaranteed deal, the rookie running back isn't expected to play in the Browns' season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

The agreement comes three weeks after prosecutors declined to pursue a case against the 21-year-old following his July arrest in South Florida on charges of misdemeanor battery and domestic violence.

Judkins, selected 36th overall by the Browns, was the final member of the 2025 draft class that was still unsigned as the club waited for a resolution to the legal matter.

However, Judkins could still receive punishment from the NFL. The league is conducting its own investigation, which could lead to a suspension.

The Browns will receive a two-game roster exemption for Judkins from the 53-man active/inactive list. That will allow him to practice with the team, but not play until the exemption is lifted, according to Rapoport.

It remains uncertain when the rookie will make his NFL debut.

Judkins' draft position gave him a slot value of $11.4 million over the course of his four-year rookie contract.
