Pascal Siakam was named the Eastern Conference finals MVP after the Indiana Pacers eliminated the New York Knicks in Game 6 on Saturday.

The three-time All-Star received five of the nine votes from the media panel, narrowly edging out his teammate, Tyrese Haliburton.

Siakam was Indiana's leading scorer against the Knicks, averaging 24.8 points to go along with five rebounds and 1.3 steals. He also had 30 points or more in three of the Pacers' four wins, including 31 in the closeout contest.

Siakam joins Jayson Tatum (2022), Jimmy Butler (2023), and Jaylen Brown (2024) as the only players to win the award.

The NBA Finals begin June 5 and will feature the Pacers versus the Oklahoma City Thunder.
