Florida Panthers forward Eetu Luostarinen left Game 5 versus the Carolina Hurricanes due to an undisclosed injury but is expected to return for the Cup Final.

Luostarinen appeared to be hurt after slamming into the boards on a missed hit in the first period. He didn't return for the second frame.

"He should be fine," Panthers head coach Paul Maurice said, according to The Hockey News' David Dwork. "We don't think it's too serious. We think he'll be right and ready."

Luostarinen has been a key piece of the Panthers' third line. He had four goals and 13 points in 16 playoff games entering Wednesday's contest, and he's won his five-on-five minutes 15-3 in the postseason, according to Natural Stat Trick.

The Panthers own a 3-1 series lead.
