The Los Angeles Dodgers announced Monday they reinstated All-Star slugger Teoscar Hernández from the injured list.

Outfielder James Outman was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding roster move.

Hernández has been sidelined since May 6 with a left groin strain. The 32-year-old was off to a torrid start before getting injured, slashing .315/.333/.600 with nine home runs and 34 RBIs in 33 games.

The reigning World Series champions have gone 5-7 without him, including a sweep at the hands of the Los Angeles Angels over the weekend.

Hernández re-signed on a three-year, $66-million contract in the offseason after hitting a career-high 33 home runs in 2024.

The veteran holds an .813 OPS (123 OPS+) through 10 MLB seasons.
