The Buffalo Sabres signed forward Jason Zucker to a two-year contract extension with a $4.75-million cap hit, the team announced Friday.

Zucker is enjoying a resurgent campaign in Buffalo with 18 goals and 44 points in 54 games. He tallied 14 goals and 32 points in 69 contests last season with the Arizona Coyotes and Nashville Predators.

The 33-year-old penned a one-year deal with the Sabres last summer worth $5 million and was set to become an unrestricted free agent after this season.

The Sabres extended forward Jordan Greenway on a two-year pact with a $4-million cap hit Wednesday.
