Brooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas suffered a new left hamstring strain in Thursday's 113-110 win over the Milwaukee Bucks and will miss the next two weeks, the team announced Saturday.

Thomas will be re-evaluated after the Nets return from their West Coast road trip, which wraps up Jan. 17 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Meanwhile, sharpshooter Cam Johnson is expected to miss Brooklyn's next three contests after sustaining a sprained right ankle against the Bucks.

Both Johnson and Thomas recently returned to the lineup versus the Orlando Magic after missing time due to hip and hamstring problems, respectively. Thomas was sidelined for 13 contests, while Johnson only missed one game.

Thomas is Brooklyn's leading scorer, averaging a career-high 24.7 points to go along with 3.4 assists and 3.6 rebounds. The Nets went 4-9 and had the league's second-lowest offensive rating during his 13-game absence in December.

Johnson is also having an excellent season, averaging a career-best 19.5 points while shooting a blistering 43.6% from three.

The recently acquired D'Angelo Russell will have to step up his scoring in their absence. The former All-Star is averaging 16.5 points and 10 assists in his two games since Brooklyn acquired him on Dec. 29.

The Nets sit 12th in the East with a 13-21 record and are scheduled to host the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday.
